Liberal Candidate Offers In-Office Support & Informational Guide for BGOS Voters

Staff

candidate francesca dobbyn270Bruce-Grey-Owen Sound Liberal MPP candidate Francesca Dobbyn has announced two voter supports accessible to the general public until Election Day, June 7.

Campaign office staff at 155 8th St. East in Owen Sound will assist voters in searching for their voter registration online. Further, Dobbyn released an informational resource called Get Out & Vote: Have Your Say in the Ontario General Election on Wednesday.

Members of the public who require assistance in checking to ensure they are on the voter’s list or would like other information about their voter status and how to vote can attend the office to receive support. The Francesca Dobbyn campaign office is open Monday to Friday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

We’ve received a lot of inquiries these past few weeks about how and when to vote, what ID one might need to take to the polling station, and more,” candidate Francesca Dobbyn said. “Elections Ontario publishes a comprehensive website, but some have trouble finding exactly what they’re looking for. We’ve distilled the information down to what really matters for Bruce-Grey-Owen Sound voters, so everyone who feels inspired and motivated to vote knows exactly how to go and do so.”

Dobbyn’s Get Out & Vote booklet contains the range of dates for voting, the list of all BGOS candidates, which provincial issues might affect residents of this area, links to the full list of acceptable IDs, contact information for those seeking assistance with voter registration, and more. Published online, it’s also available to download. Those without access to the internet can attend the campaign office to review it there, or call 519-371-1941 for information and assistance.

It’s always been important to me that every member of our community has a voice. I don’t want a single person to avoid voting out of uncertainty or just not knowing the process. We’re here to help.”
