Pedestrian Suffers Minor Injuries After Traffic Accident

opp logo270On October 25, at approximately 2:07 p.m., Grey County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a report of an injured pedestrian after being struck by a vehicle at the intersection of Trowbridge Street East and Sykes Street South in the Municipality of Meaford.

The pedestrian, a 75 year-old female from Toronto, suffered minor injuries after being struck by a Kia Sorento vehicle that had made a left turn from Trowbridge Street East out onto Sykes Street South. The victim was transported to hospital where she was treated and released.

The investigation continues. Charges are pending against the driver of the vehicle.
