Volunteers and staff are ready for the 39th Great Annual Library Book Sale at the Owen Sound & North Grey Union Public Library (OSNGUPL).
“The library would like to thank the many library patrons, friends, and community members for donating books, DVDs, CDs, games and other items to the library each year. Some of the donations are added to our collection. Many are saved for our Great Annual Library Book Sale. Proceeds help us buy new resources for the collection,” said the library of the event.
Regular sale hours are Monday, October 23 to Thursday, October 26 from 9:30 a.m. to 9 p.m., and Friday, October 27 from 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The half price sale begins on Saturday, October 28, from 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. and continues on Sunday, October 29 from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. All items on the stage and auditorium floor are half-priced.
Monday, October 30 is the famous $2 A Bag day. Fill a regular-sized disposable grocery bag with books and pay $2 for many hours of reading enjoyment.
“Over fifty friends of the library volunteer to make the book sale happen. We thank them for their effort and hard work,” said the library.
