Municipality Looking For Volunteers For BIA Board & Economic Development Committee

mfd operations ctr sign270The Municipality of Meaford is seeking volunteers to share their expertise with the Meaford Community. One member is needed for the Economic Development Advisory Committee, and three for the Business Improvement Area Board of Management.

Applicants should have relevant experience or expertise and have the desire to make a contribution to the Municipality of Meaford,” said the municipality.

Interested members of the community should complete the application form and send it, along with a resume, to the Clerk by 4 p.m. on Friday, August 31, 2017.

Please note that applicants must be a Canadian citizen, an eligible elector of the Municipality, over 18 years of age, and cannot be employees of the Municipality. BIA Board members must be owners or tenants of commercially assessed property within the BIA. This is a volunteer position without remuneration, and appointees must be willing to sign the Advisory Committee Code of Conduct,” advised the municipality.
