The Municipality of Meaford and the Meaford Public Library are hosting the fourth annual Views of Meaford Photo Contest. This is your opportunity to capture local images that reflect the beauty of the Municipality of Meaford.
“We’re excited to hold the Views of Meaford Photo Contest once again as it engages locals and visitors to experience our community. Many of the photos we’ve received in previous years have become a regular part of our marketing efforts, either in print, online, or through social media. We can’t wait to see what our shutterbugs capture this year,” said Economic Development and Tourism Officer Stephen Murray.
The contest runs from Tuesday, August 8 to Friday, September 22. There is no entry fee, and you can enter as often as you like into these five categories:
· Scenery
· Pets & Wildlife
· Scarecrows
· Local History
· Big Red Chairs
There are fabulous prizes to be won and the winning photos will be on display at the Meaford Public Library.
Please submit photos digitally to photos@meaford.ca or pick up a USB stick at the Meaford Public Library. Save files as Category#YourName#Location.
Further details and entry forms can be found at www.meafordlibrary.on.ca or pick up copies at the Meaford Public Library. For more information, please contact 519-538-1060 ext. 1123 or email info@meafordlibrary.on.ca.
