The Meaford Curling Club saw another annual event on Saturday, February 21 – The Local Mixed bonspiel. All the teams were keen to win, but at the end of the day the victors were the Brian Wiley team who took home the trophy.
Their team consisted of Sarah Almas as skip, Grace Jamieson was vice, Brian Wiley was second and Fred Jamieson led.
It was a potluck event with great food brought in by all the teams and of course no event can proceed without sponsors who were Dave’s Heating and Cooling and Eagles Weed control.
