On Friday, January 30, Grey County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) was called to investigate a structure fire which had been discovered on 8 Concession N. in the Municipality of Meaford at approximately 6:00 p.m. that evening.
Grey County OPP is assisting the Office of the Chief Coroner and the Ontario Fire Marshal’s Office (OFM) in what is believed to be a fire-related death investigation after human remains were located at the scene.
The remains have not been identified.
The investigation is continuing.
