Staff

library ww 270The Municipality of Meaford is exploring options for an accessible and modern library building to better serve residents and visitors.

It has contracted LGA Architectural Partners to examine possible renovations for the Meaford Public Library and next door municipal administration building on Trowbridge Street.

On Monday, September 26 at 5:30 p.m., LGA Architectural Partners will present a report to Council during its meeting at Council Chambers, 157859 7th Line.

Meaford Public Library board chair Peter Bantock notes, “LGA has developed an interesting plan making use of the two existing facilities. We look forward to seeing the details on how their approach would improve accessibility and enhance library services. We hope that residents will come and listen to the presentation. Your interest and feedback will be much appreciated and will help guide future developments.”

Further information on this presentation can be found in the council agenda package as of Thursday, September 22 at www.meaford.ca.
