It was a very hot humid day on Tuesday, September 6 for the RBA Financial Lawn Bowling Tournament held in Meaford.
The twelve teams that played that day were from Arthur, Chesley, Hanover, Meaford, Midland, Mt. Forest, Owen Sound, and Saugeen Shores.
The winners for this 4-3-2-1 Tournament were Pat Kaufman and Pat Smith from Hanover.
Taking second place was Murray Trask and Don Panagapka of Saugeen Shores.
Eric and Sandy Weatherall from Chesley took third place in the tournament.
Fourth place was awarded to Meaford’s own Bill Bouwman and Murray Dougherty.
John Flynn and Brenda Long of Owen Sound took the consolation prize.
A great time was had by all.
