On September 9, at approximately 4:00 p.m., Grey County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were called to investigate, after someone had caused damage to the oversized red painted Muskoka chair located in Beautiful Joe Park on Edwin Street in the Municipality of Meaford.
Although the damage was considered to be minor, this is the third time that the chair has been the target of mischief by unknown person(s).
The park is closed for public use between 11:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. daily. Any suspicious activity should be reported to police. Anyone with information is asked to contact the OPP at 1-888-310-1122.
