The Meaford Farmers’ Market has announced the first Annual ‘Tastes of Meaford’ bus tour which will take place on Saturday, August 20 from 1 pm to 5:30 pm.
Stops on the tour will include Barbetta Orchards, The Barn Co-operative, Coffin Ridge Boutique Winery, Sunrise Organics Farm, and Wolf River Farm.
At each stop, you will learn about these food destinations in the Municipality of Meaford and taste of some of what local food producers have to offer.
Tickets for the bus tour are free, with cash and non-perishable food donations being welcomed for the Golden Town Outreach Food Bank, and are available at the Meaford Farmers’ Market, Many Hands of Meaford, and The Barn Co-operative.
Those who are part of the tour are asked to be at the Meaford Harbour Pavilion at 12:45 pm to board the buses. The buses will return to the Meaford Harbour Pavilion by 5:30 pm.
