Grace Lambe… AKA Grandma Lambe… celebrated her 88th birthday in style on Monday, July 18 as a group of vintage cars came to visit the business.
The cars, mostly Model A and Ts, along with a Studebaker or two dating back to the 1912-1914 era, were part of a vintage car tour from the northeastern United States.
Lambe said seeing the cars brought back memories of vehicles her father owned while she was a child.
She recalled how those early cars would sometimes have trouble making their way up local hills. Instead of driving up, Lambe said sometimes drivers had to make a U-turn, and back up the hills instead.
