The Second City, the legendary sketch and improv comedy theatre company, is on the road and will visit Meaford with Hooking Up With The Second City on Saturday, May 7 at the Meaford Hall Arts and Culture Centre.
The ‘swoon-worthy’ revue, Hooking Up with The Second City, is a modern mix of romance, rancor, and everything in between. Hooking Up With The Second City makes fun of missed connections, girls’ night out adventures, and all the crazy things we do for love.
Hooking Up with The Second City will star Brandon Hackett (The Rocket Scientists, Bob Curry Fellowship), Lindsay Mullan (Loose Moose Theatre Company, Bad Dog), Ann Pornel (The Flirty Boys, Bob Curry Fellowship), Roger Bainbridge (Tony Ho, Get Some), Nadine Djoury (The Weaker Vessels), and Devon Hyland (Theatresports, The Winter Beach Show).
The Second City, a Canadian-owned company, is a premier improv and sketch comedy theatre company, with resident stages in Toronto and Chicago, training centres in Toronto, Chicago, and Los Angeles, as well as touring companies performing throughout the world.
Tickets for the May 7 performance are $35, and can be purchased online at meafordhall.ca or by dropping by the box office at 12 Nelson Street E.
