Home Invasion Investigation Results in Arrests of Two Meaford Men

opp logo270After an ongoing investigation, Grey County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) with the assistance of the Grey County OPP Crime Unit have arrested two males in connection to the robbery that occurred at a Miller Street home in the Municipality of Meaford on April 23, 2016 in which a quantity of cash and jewelry was stolen.

A 19-year old Meaford man, Raymond Wilfred ‘Kevin’ Paige-MacNeil, is charged with the following offences:

–  Break and Enter – Commit Robbery
–  Robbery with Weapon
–  Robbery with Violence
–  Disguise with Intent
–  Possession of Weapon for Dangerous Purpose
–  Possession of Stolen Property Over $5,000

He is in custody pending a bail hearing scheduled for April 28, 2016.

The second man arrested is a 40-year old Meaford man, Shane Mitchell Cupskey, who has been charged with the following offences:

–  Break and Enter – Commit Robbery
–  Robbery with Weapon
–  Robbery with Violence
–  Disguise with Intent
–  Possession of Weapon for Dangerous Purpose
–  Possession of Stolen Property Over $5,000
–  Breach of Recognizance

He is in custody pending a bail hearing scheduled for April 29, 2016.

The victims, an 88-year old male and his 82-year old wife, were not injured.

The stolen jewelry has been recovered.
