Alexa Campbell
The St. Vincent 4-H Calf Club has formally started this 2016 year. Our first meeting was held on March 25.
All the members of the club had the chance to meet the three volunteer leaders, Natalie Mather, Tracy McNally, and Todd Campbell.
They learned about 4-H Ontario’s mission to develop leadership skills, including critical thinking, parliamentary procedure, communication, hands-on skill development, and community contribution.
The clubs held elections for executive positions which resulted in Taylor Campbell as President, Madi Lewis as Vice-President, Cassie Vickers as Secretary, Bailey Campbell as Treasurer, and Alex McNally, Alexa Campbell, and Travis Fulford as Press Reporters.
There are lots of opportunities in 4-H, and being a part of the beef and dairy calf club provides great experiences.
Our next meeting is going to be held on April 24. If you are 9-21 years of age and interested in a new experience, please feel free to contact any one of our leaders or members.
