Cigarettes Stolen From Outbuilding

opp logo270On February 8, Grey County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a report of a break, enter and theft from an outbuilding on Paul Street in the Municipality of Meaford.

Sometime between 6:30 p.m. and 9:00 p.m., when the homeowners returned home, someone had trespassed and entered an outbuilding on their property.

It was discovered that the person(s) had ripped a section of siding from the exterior wall and then proceeded to make a hole into the building using a garden tool. An undisclosed amount of cigarettes were stolen.
