Music is connected to all our favourite festivals. Familiar music evokes memories of good times with families and friends, and new music helps create new memories.
Meaford’s Goldenaires have been learning new music and revisiting old favourites in order to start the upcoming festive month on the right note.
Old favourites such as A Marshmallow World and new songs like Candles in December have been given the Goldenaires’ unique sound under the able direction of our musical director Jennifer Potter, who is well known in her own right as an excellent singer.
All profits from the holiday season concert are donated to various school music programs or local outreach programs.
Join the Goldenaires on Sunday, December 6 at 2:30 p.m. at Meaford United Church for their annual Songs of the Season concert. Tickets are available at the door or from Stuff to Read. $12 for adults and $5 for children 12 and under.
