On Tuesday, August 4, at approximately 9:19 a.m., Grey County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a report of a break-in and theft from the Christ Anglican Church located on Boucher Street East, in the Municipality of Meaford.
Sometime between 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 3 and 9:00 a.m. on Monday, August 4, unknown person(s) entered the church and pried open a Memorial Box. Approximately $30.00 cash was taken from the box. There was no sign of forced entry.
Grey County OPP is asking anyone with information which may assist in the investigation to contact them at 1-888-310-1122.
