My wife Tammy and I have been married for 30 years. We have called Meaford home for the past 14, with our two grown children Kyle and Tianna. I have 35 years of logistics experience; an avid outdoorsman focused on fly fishing. Protecting our natural environment is of great importance to my family and myself.
Explain your primary reasons for your decision to seek election to Meaford council:
I’m running for the position of councillor in the Municipality of Meaford. I believe in a robust community where everyone is equal regardless of social and economic status. The council’s role is to represent the public and always bear in mind the well-being and prosperity of the municipality.
In your view, what should be the top priorities for the council that is elected on October 24?
My priority as a counsellor is to see that the citizens are always adequately represented and get the answers they deserve to questions they may have. Meaford is on the brink of massive development, and we need a council that ensures these projects get started. Our community propers without jeopardizing the pristine waters of Georgian Bay and our countryside’s natural beauty while preserving our unique heritage.
