Computer Stolen From Unlocked Vehicle

On Thursday, July 10, Grey County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a report of a stolen computer from a parked vehicle on Meadow Lane in the Municipality of Meaford.

The Lenovo computer tablet, carrying case and accessories, as well as an emergency car kit which included a portable car heater, were taken from the vehicle sometime between July 6and 7. The value of the stolen goods was estimated to be $700. The vehicle was unlocked.

Police also received reports of vehicles broken into on Somers St. and Finden St. in the Township of Georgian Bluffs. A man’s wallet, cash, bank cards and other personal identification was taken. The vehicles were unlocked.
