I received the following email earlier today. Not sure if it has been widely received in the Meaford area, but I share the content with you in an effort to alert the public to this particular email scam.

The subject is “Canada Revenue”
Tax Refund Notification
Msg Ref: 634/Le623214
I have reviewed your income tax liability for the year shown above to see whether you
have underpaid or overpaid tax for that year.
Our calculation shows that you are eligible to receive a tax refund of 511.08 CAD ready to
claim now.
Due to the high volume of tax refund payments you must complete one fast online
application
