Annual local music event, the Meaford 100 Mile Stomp returns to the harbour for another year on Saturday July 4, with a new, streamlined name – Meaford Stomp.
“We have made changes to the Meaford 100 Mile Stomp this year,” said event organizer Roberta Docherty. “We are still raising funds for the Food Bank and Lions Community Projects by renting spaces to assorted vendors for $25 per space. There will be crafters, artists, food vendors, authors, service clubs, and information booths.”
As with previous years, the admission is free, but a donation of food or money to the Golden Town Outreach Food Bank is suggested.
“It is still a family event with a wide variety of activities, wheelchair accessible and free admission. We have been very successful for the past two years and we hope these changes will make it even better,” suggests Docherty. “We hope you will join us for a fun day and support local businesses.”
