Meaford’s Museum staff have been hard at work creating new exhibits for their visitors and are excited to share them with the public at a Museum Open House on Saturday May 24, between 1-3 pm.
The Meaford Museum is located at 111 Bayfield Street.
“Come and explore our new Nautical Room that showcases Meaford’s own retired ship captain, Bruce Shepperd’s model ships; learn about the Apple Pie Trail and the apple industry in our area; and also learn about Meaford’s famous people including John Muir and Andrew Gawley, the Man with Iron Hands,” said the Museum in their open house announcement.
