Visual Artist’s Gift Supports Music Festival

Visual artist Bill McCann moved to Blue Mountains a few years back. Prior to the move, he and wife Barbara lived in Ottawa where his paintings were sold exclusively at Orange Art Gallery.

After 25-plus years of painting, Bill has decided to clean up his brushes, tidy up the paints, and repurpose his studio. While sorting through his remaining collection Bill decided to donate over 25 works to be sold in support of the Sweetwater Music Festival.

The festival has featured incredible, world-class musicians for a full week of concerts every September. sweetwatermusicfestival.ca

This generous donation by the McCanns supports arts and culture in the region.

The show, being held in Meaford at 212 Miller Street, on Friday, December 5 from 6 – 9 p.m. and Saturday, December 6 from 2 – 4 p.m., will give folks a chance to meet Bill, see his bold, unique pieces, and pick up a great painting at a wonderful price point.

Come celebrate the career of painter Bill McCann by attending the show. You might just find a treasure for a wall in your home or work space.
