The Women’s Centre Grey Bruce is hosting their First Annual Charity Golf Classic on Thursday, July 4, at Legacy Ridge Golf Club with registration at 3:30 p.m. Tickets are $125 per person, which includes 9-hole golf and cart, roast beef dinner, silent auction, raffle prizes, and a 50/50 draw.
“I am so excited to announce and be a part of this new fundraising event for The Women’s Centre. It is part of our strategic plan to build on community partnerships. The First Annual Charity Golf Classic is a 9-hole scramble tournament with a shotgun start. This format allows players of all levels and abilities to join in the fun and finish at the same time to enjoy the evening’s festivities, including a roast beef dinner, silent auction, 50/50 draw, and prizes. Planning new events like the Golf Classic will help get the word out about our programs and services to support women, children and at-risk youth affected by abuse in Grey and Bruce Counties. It is very rewarding to see our team’s vision in planning this event come to fruition, and I hope the day is a great success!” said Heather Sheldrick, Executive Director.
