I wanted to take the time to share an appreciation and admiration for the Meaford and Owen Sound hospitals and all the staff we interacted with early this week. After a trip via ambulance to Meaford, and Owen Sound for surgery, we felt very well looked after. The staff evaluated pain level and made sure my husband was very comfortable, even the x-ray tech waited for the meds to take effect before taking him in.
This was a frightening experience and each person made it absolutely incredible, as incredible as a broken hip can be. So often we hear negative stories but there are also very pleasant experiences with really wonderful and caring staff.
