Based on the interesting and positive letter from Bruce Mason last week, rather than drive to Ludington, I did a Google Earth of the project, which has been running without a hitch since 1973 and it is impressive. With 6 turbines available, it can deliver enough power for 1.4 million homes.
Not only that, but they work alongside wildlife authorities to ensure that wildlife habitat is preserved and enhanced. They even have a park and viewing platforms. Think of the tourists this could attract.
From what I see, we have little to worry about, and from being a fence sitter I have become a believer. The following link is long, but a lot quicker to type than driving to Ludington.
