Norm Foster’s ‘Self Help’ on the Woodford Hall Stage

After months of effort memorizing lines and working through where to be on stage, the wonderful actors and crew of the Meaford Theatre Company are ready to present to you the tremendously funny play Self Help by Norm Foster.

The cast includes Kelly Ward who plays a self help guru (Cindy Savage) along with her stage husband Jason Whaley (Hal Savage). They are guided through life by their ever bossy agent played by Leslie Ransom (Ruby Delvecchio) and driven crazy by the absent-minded maid (Bernice) played by Jensen Heynsbergen. The motley crew is rounded out with the cop (Detective Snow) played by Jake McArthur, the nosey reporter (Jeremy Cash), played by Andy Dumas, and the announcer Christina Sheardown.

The troupe is held together and the magic is directed by director Bryan James and his stage manager Helen Solmes.

You’ll surely recognize one or more of these names and if you do it is because they are all local folks, putting countless hours of effort into perfecting the delivery of the script, creating magic for your entertainment.

Come support their efforts and have a wonderful night out at the wonderfully intimate Woodford Hall, April 18, 19, 20, and again April 25, 26, 27. Tickets are $25 and available at Craig Gallery, Meaford, or through Eventbrite.com
