Each year the Municipality of Meaford Council presents the Community Builder Award to outstanding individuals who have helped shape and promote our community through their devotion to volunteering on behalf of Meaford and its residents.
Visit www.meaford.ca/CommunityBuilder to submit your nomination, or pick up a nomination form at the Municipal Administration Office located at 21 Trowbridge Street West, Monday to Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Forms are also available at the Riverside Community Centre, Woodford Community Centre, Bognor Hall, Meaford Hall, the Meaford Public Library, and the Meaford and St. Vincent Community Centre during regular hours of operation. Nominations are due by Friday, March 15.
Meaford Council will review the nominations, select the recipients, and the awards will be presented at this year’s Volunteer Appreciation event scheduled for Tuesday, April 16. This event will run in tandem with National Volunteer Week (April 15 – 19) and we encourage you to celebrate a volunteer in your life by sending in a nomination. Together we can recognize the terrific work people are doing in our community. More details on the event will be released in April.
