The Municipality of Meaford’s Draft 2022 Budget presentation is now available as a video.
Last week, a public engagement meeting scheduled for January 5 was cancelled because of the current Public Health restrictions. This meeting was an opportunity for the public to participate with Council and staff, asking questions about the budget.
In place of the meeting, a video presentation of what was planned for January 5 is now available on meaford.ca/budgets. Presented by CAO Rob Armstrong, the video provides an overview of what is in the 2022 budget and includes PowerPoint slides detailing the process. The PowerPoint presentation is also available for viewing independently of the video.
Residents and the public can still ask questions or provide a comment on the budget by emailing budgets@meaford.ca or calling (519)538-1060 extension 2022. Questions and answers will be posted on the municipal website (https://www.meaford.ca/en/our-government/budgets-and-financial-statements.aspx).
Comments can also be sent to Council by e-mailing council@meaford.ca.
