Meaford Theatre Company to Stage Norm Foster Play ‘Looking’

She has missed her prime years yet she feels that in the right light she still has it. I mean, how hard can it be to find a man worthy of her affection? Perhaps with the help of her promiscuous bestie friend she might be successful. Fortunately there are guys out there stuck in the same dilemma, searching for that perfect soul mate. Perhaps what they all need is a little ‘kismet’!

The Meaford Theatre Company is offering a wonderfully crafted and hilarious story about people looking for that someone special. The play called Looking is written by the internationally renowned playwright Norm Foster, who many of you recognize as the author who wrote Self Help and Ladies Foursome, both of which were smash hits on the Meaford Theatre Company’s stage in recent years.

The characters are played by Colin Watson (as Andy – a Storage Unit Rental Owner), Bryan James (as Matt – a Radio Broadcaster), Corrine McGowan (as Nina – a Cop) and Kelly Ward (as Val – an OR Nurse). As always, the cast and crew are all local enthusiasts who have been working diligently for months to create the magic that will thoroughly entertain you and your friends. Make a date of it and support local live theatre in the wonderfully intimate Woodford Hall, just a short drive from anywhere in Meaford and surrounding communities.

Dates: October 17/18/19 and 24/25/26 with curtain at 7:30 p.m.

Tickets: At Craig Gallery Meaford, or www.3common.com/MeafordTheatreCompany or at the door, Woodford Hall, Woodford Cres.
