Leith Summer Festival 2025 Announces a Stellar Season

The Leith Summer Festival’s Artistic Director Jeremy Bell has announced a season of offerings – “a panoply of classical, jazz, pop, and folk music from some of Canada’s most lauded performers.”

The season opens June 28 at 7:30 p.m., with three-time Juno award-winning Canadian vocalist Caity Gyorgy.

Caity’s vocal style is graced with delicious inflections and the sweetest vibrato charms. She delivers all with a wink and wit to boot – you will be smiling instantly!” said organizers. “Her long-standing music partner is the pianist/arranger Mark Limacher and together they have arranged several snazzy 1950’s bebop and swing numbers with lush string accompaniment provided by the Penderecki String Quartet and Joe Phillips on bass. Mark also has a few wildly clever jazz-expansions on the string quartet melodies of Tchaikovsky and Borodin ready to go. This opening gala concert is not to be missed!”

Tickets on sale through roxytheatre.ca in April.

Early bird special for patrons in March.
