The Realtors Association of Grey Bruce Owen Sound (RAGBOS) Golf Tournament in support of Habitat for Humanity Grey Bruce is returning on September 11, taking place at Stone Tree Golf and Fitness in Owen Sound.
This will be the last year for the tournament with RAGBOS as its primary sponsor, as the organization will be undergoing amalgamation with three other real estate associations.
“We are working hard to ensure this tournament is the best we have ever hosted,” said Loretta Emonts, RAGBOS Golf Committee Chair. “When you sign up to participate before August 30, you will receive many benefits, including 18 holes of golf at one of Grey Bruce’s premier courses, a power cart rental, lunch, and a catered sit-down dinner buffet for dinner, all for only $175.”
Golfers of any skill level are encouraged to sign up to participate. Registration can be completed by going to https://habitatgreybruce.ca/golf-registration. After August 30, registration increases to $200 per golfer.
“It’s no secret, housing affordability in Grey Bruce has reached a crisis level,” said Greg Fryer, Executive Director, Habitat for Humanity Grey Bruce. “This event is a crucial fundraiser for our organization and the work we do. We are grateful to RAGBOS for its ongoing support and hope to see many of our partners and community members out on the links.”
In addition to the golf tournament, RAGBOS is supporting an online silent auction where anyone can bid. Highlights of the auction include a Broil King Crown 500 Electric Wood Pellet BBQ Grill and a DEWALT Atomic Compact Series Brushless 2-Tool Combo Kit. The auction will go live on August 29, and can be accessed through a link on Habitat Grey Bruce’s website homepage: habitatgreybruce.ca.
