SweetWater Music Festival has announced that violinist Edwin Huizinga has renewed his contract with the festival for an additional five years until 2028. This partnership will allow SweetWater to continue to offer high-quality classical music performances featuring one of the most renowned and celebrated violinists of our time.
Huizinga has been an integral part of the SweetWater Music Festival since its inception. His unique style and unparalleled musicianship have made him a favourite among festival attendees, and his contributions have helped to establish the festival as one of the premier classical music events in the region.

The five-year contract renewal will ensure that SweetWater Music Festival can continue to bring world-class classical music to Owen Sound and surrounding areas. The festival will also continue to provide educational opportunities for local students and emerging musicians through workshops, masterclasses, and other outreach programs.
