Hoops for Hope returned for a second year on Thursday, April 23, with a much bigger footprint, bringing together 20 boys and 16 girls student teams to compete in 3 x 3 basketball for a worthy cause. The Meaford Lawn Bowling Club's facility experienced issues caused by ice from the river during the recent ice jam as the river entered the inner harbour. Much of the ice was pushed up the riverbanks, and the lawn bowling club was in its path.
