Catapult Grey Bruce is seeking a new executive director as Cathryn Love steps down from the role.
Love has served as Catapult’s executive director for the past year; joining the organization as it was ready to take-off.
“Cathryn quickly jumped into developing new programming, growing connections in Grey Bruce, and sharing Catapult’s success stories featuring local entrepreneurs,” said Courtney Denard, chair, Catapult Grey Bruce.
Throughout her tenure as executive director, Love managed the day-to-day operations of the non-profit-organization that’s committed to creating a dynamic and thriving entrepreneurship ecosystem in Grey Bruce.
To date, with Love’s contributions, Catapult now has 500+ active connections representing a diverse range of local businesses. The organization’s programs are tailored to business owners who are interested in receiving financial coaching, one-on-one mentorship, and office space in Owen Sound at Sydenham Campus.
Catapult now also offers a membership package to help businesses grow their market size, uncover sales opportunities and plan for expansion.
“Cathryn was at the helm of building Catapult’s membership package, which is now a valuable asset for entrepreneurs in the region,” Denard added.
Moving forward, Catapult Grey Bruce plans to hire a new executive director to take on the leadership of the organization.
“We’re looking for a qualified candidate who can carry on the organizational progress that’s already been made,” Denard said. “Someone who has a passion for non-profit work and is eager to help local businesses grow and thrive.”
Catapult’s board of directors will be releasing more information on the job posting in the near future.
