Brightshores Meaford Hospital has announced the arrival of the C-Arm, a state-of-the-art digital imaging system that will revolutionize patient care. This cutting-edge equipment was made possible through the efforts of the organizing committee members and the generosity of guests, sponsors, and donors at last fall’s ER, An Evening of Revelry event, raising almost $300,000.
Thanks to this collective support, the hospital has acquired the C-Arm, a groundbreaking tool designed to provide high-resolution, real-time imaging. This technology will significantly enhance the capabilities of our orthopaedic surgeons, facilitating precise diagnoses and treatments. Whether assisting in complex orthopaedic procedures or guiding vascular studies, the C-Arm ensures that the community receives the highest quality care close to home.

At the recent unveiling, organizers and donors had the opportunity to see the C-Arm firsthand and learn about its transformative effect on healthcare. Esteemed orthopaedic surgeon Dr. Giuseppe Costa was on hand to share insights into how this technology enhances precision and efficiency in surgical procedures.
The Meaford Hospital Foundation has announced that this year’s ER, An Evening of Revelry, will be hosted in the fall.
