In an extraordinary show of generosity, an anonymous donor has stepped forward to support the Meaford Harbour 5k Run/Walk by offering a matching donation challenge aimed at enhancing emergency care at Brightshores Meaford Hospital.
From June 1 to July 12, 2025, every dollar donated in support of the event will be matched one-for-one, up to $20,000, effectively doubling the impact of contributions. The funds raised will go directly toward essential upgrades and improvements to the Emergency Room Department at Brightshores Meaford Hospital, ensuring better patient care and modernized equipment for the growing community.
The Meaford Harbour 5K Run/Walk is a beloved community event that encourages fitness, fun, and fundraising for local healthcare.
