On Monday, August 10, at approximately 1:03 a.m., Grey County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a traffic hazard report after several bags of soil were placed and piled two high across Sykes Street South at Trowbridge Street, in the Municipality of Meaford.
Officers collected the full bags of soil and returned them to the Foodland grocery store on Sykes Street South from where they were taken.
Two male youths were seen in the area just before the incident. One of the youths was described as being chubby, having a “baby face” and wearing a baseball cap.
