Prevent Thefts From Vehicles By Locking Them

opp logo270On March 2, 2018 Grey County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received two separate theft from vehicle reports.

Sometime between 10:00 p.m. on March 1, and 06:30 a.m. on March 2, two vehicles parked vehicle on Sideroad 24 in the Municipality of Meaford were entered. A gym bag containing gym clothes, running shoes, an American Eagle sweatshirt, as well as three pairs of sunglasses were taken.

Sometime between 1:00 p.m. on February 28, and 9:00 a.m. on March 2, a man’s wallet containing identification and credits cards was taken from a vehicle parked on Wilder Lake Road in the Township of Southgate.

Grey County OPP urge residents to lock their vehicles to prevent these types of thefts from occurring.
