I have tried before to no avail so thought I would try once again to see if I can get some response. In 1981 I was with 22 engineer reg in England posted to Meaford where we were working on the tank range in Meaford.
I got to know some wonderful people who lived on the lane up to the range. The only names I can remember were Doug and I believe Mary who both worked at the camp in the catering department.
I would dearly love to hear from anyone who can remember the British soldiers or anyone that may have been there. I loved Meaford and made the most of in the seven months I lived there. Would dearly love to revisit one day. Thanking you in anticipation.
