A Community Harvest Meal is being held at the Meaford & St. Vincent Community Centre on Wednesday October 26 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.
This meal is a a joint venture between the Municipality and the Golden Town Outreach. The menu will reflect the local harvest with dishes such as black bean and corn soup, pasta sauce made from fresh local tomatoes, balsamic roasted vegetables and “local apples” crisp.
Free tickets are available at Muxlow’s Pharmacy, Meaford United Church and the Monday Community Cafe at Church of the Nazarene. Music will accompany the meal along with activities for children. A freewill donation will be available.
