Eighty-five year old Meaford resident Hugh Timmerman completed his very last bicycle ‘Ride for the Cure’ to from Meaford to Collingwood and back.
The above photo was taken of him with Meaford Terry Fox Run organizer, Haley Fawcett, displaying a cheque for $3,481.00 – a thousand dollars over last year’s contribution.
Over the past 16 years Timmerman has raised more than $21,000 for the Terry Fox charity.
