The City of Owen Sound will host fall Youth Sports and Program registration on Thursday, September 15 and Tuesday, September 20 from 5:30 to 8:00 p.m. at the Harry Lumley Bayshore Community Centre in the Bay Room.
Groups participating include: Owen Sound Girls Hockey; Owen Sound Minor Hockey; Owen Sound Ringette; Owen Sound Skating Club; Minor Basketball; Futsal; Girl Guides (Sparks, Brownies, Guides, Pathfinders, and Rangers); Satellites Gymnastic Club; Fudoshin Classical Karate; Boy Scouts; Blue Water Junior Curling; and Owen Sound Special Olympics.
All those attending the registration must provide photo ID to show residency. The non-resident fee of $167/child/sport applies to residents living outside Owen Sound registering for Owen Sound Girls Hockey, Owen Sound Minor Hockey, Owen Sound Ringette and Owen Sound Skating Club. Non-resident cards can be purchased the night of registration or in advance of registration at City Hall from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday to Friday, or call Service Owen Sound at 519-376-1440. Cash, cheque, debit and credit cards will be accepted for payment of the non-resident cards.
Meaford residents pay only 10 percent ($16.70) of the applicable $167/per child/sport non-resident fee.
The Municipality of Georgian Bluffs will be at registration to provide refund forms for their residents.
