On Tuesday August 16, the Municipality of Meaford issued notice that the burn ban imposed by the Meaford and District Fire Department on August 4th has been lifted.
“Fire Chief Scott Granahan would like to thank residents for their cooperation, and urges everyone to continue to follow safety practices such as keeping a means of extinguishment on hand during campfires, not leaving fires unattended, and ensuring they are thoroughly extinguished,” said the municipality.
