On March 12, at approximately 9:51 p.m., Grey County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) was called to assist with an unwanted person at a restaurant in the Municipality of Meaford after the person had been asked by management to leave but refused.
The male, who was intoxicated and becoming aggressive, refused to leave the restaurant. Subsequently, Grey County OPP attended the scene and escorted the male off the property.
The 32-year old Ottawa man was issued a Provincial Offence Notice for being intoxicated in a public place.
He was given a ride to a nearby residence and turned over to a relative.
