This year’s Ontario Public Library Week theme, Loud for Libraries, invites people across Ontario to consider what they are willing to do for libraries in their own communities. It also challenges long-standing perceptions of libraries as quiet, passive spaces. While libraries continue to offer spaces for reading, learning, and reflection, they are also vibrant community hubs for dialogue, creativity, connection, and civic participation.
“So, let’s get loud!” said Library staff.
Some events require registration in advance. Please drop by, call the library at 519-538-3500, email libraryinfo@meaford.ca, or visit www.meaford.ca/library for more details.
