I would appreciate some explanation from our provincial government officials and even a financial expert regarding:

Bruce Nuclear
Meaford Trans Canada Energy’s Pumped Storage Project
I have followed, become educated and expressed my knowledge with regards to these projects: however, I have concentrated on Trans Canada Energy’s (TCE) Pumped Storage Project (PSP).
While proponents (corporations) of these energy systems seem to have open access to our government officials such is not the case for an average constituent: me for example.
I would appreciate a response on how you can possibly support these projects but especially the Meaford TCE Pumped storage project, as it makes no sense.
These projects share the longest construction time and highest construction costs with resultant higher energy expenses for Ontario residents. I will focus with the one project I have followed in detail for the last six years.
TCE Pumped Storage project is the longest time to construct and by far the highest cost energy storage system plus the least efficient (the most operational energy losses).
What is this government doing?
All challenges that this PSP present do not exist using modern sustainable green solutions: Solar, Wind, Geothermal and other generation systems and Battery for storage are simply better in every way. Ontario has lots of space to expand these projects close to our electrical grid.
It is not necessary to list all the complexities associated with Ford/Lecce’s choices. It is simply time to catch up to this century and archive older technologies simply because there are better modern alternatives!
