Reader Expresses Frustration About MPP’s Response to Healthcare Concerns

Dear Editor,

I was listening to the discussion on the strike for health care workers in Owen Sound. Apparently our MPP will not talk to them or even allow them in his office, by using police to keep them away. We have a lot of Conservatives in this area, and I thought you might ask them to ask MPP Vickers why he took a pay raise and then went on vacation for 5 months, while these workers are not allowed their court demanded pay increase. Do we have any rights in paying his wages for representing us or not? He will not say if he wants our health care to be privatised, or does he just want his $163,000 paycheque without caring what we need? Only Conservative supporters will be allowed to ask, so please ask your readers to do so.

Thank you.
