The Municipality of Meaford’s Enforcement Team is actively seeking assistance in identifying the owner of a dog that was involved in a biting incident with another dog on Wednesday, November 5, between 5 and 5:15 p.m. at the dog-off-leash Memorial Park designated area.
The dog’s owner is described as a woman in her 30s who was with a child wearing an orange parka. The dog has been described as a black and white dog, 50-60 lbs., with a mainly white face with black around one eye, and was identified by the owner as a Great Dane cross with the name Oden. There was another dog with them, described as a black dog around 30-40 lbs. with a distinctive triangle appearance (ears, chest, and face) with a possible name Vader.

This is a reminder to all owners of dogs that all dogs are to always be in the care and control of the owner while off-leash and are required to be annually licensed by the Municipality of Meaford or another jurisdiction.
